Enable .net framework 3.5 in windows 8 & 8.1 from installation disc

Open command prompt as administrator and paste the following code in it:

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:x:\sources\sxs

(Note : 'x' in the command line refers to your installation disc's location)
